France draws against Brazil

On Monday, the 2nd of February, Clash of the Titans, in which France locked horns with Brazil, with no one being crowned the winner due to failure to convert any chances. Even if this match lacked the sheer amount of chances and action that you’re used to, this fixture still attracted quite the crowd and kept them entertained.

Japan destroys Peru 2-0

Japan completely outclassed Peru due to their experience. As soon as the match started, it was clear that Japan had total control, and the scoreline reflects this; it was an absolute display of strength from Japan, who easily killed off the match. However, Peru did create chances to try and make a comeback, but it was all in vain.

Italy 2 Spain 0

Today was quite the match, full of physical tussles and fierce duels. Italy did come out with the 3 points and should be satisfied with that result, as it was a hard-fought win. We hope Spain will be able to be a challenge to Italy, who is most likely to be qualified in their group.

And on this note, your favourite birdie will take a nap and come back on Friday.
